CeBIT 2011: Extended Offer of Sales Program, from Efficient Capture Point to Cloud

The company Gama System will be exhibiting this year at world's greatest IT fair CeBIT 2011, this time as the only supplier of software solutions from Slovenia.

From March 1st to March 5th 2011 at stand J30 in Hall3, we will be presenting solution for legally valid electronic storage – Gama System® eArchive and solutions for electronic document management system, joined together under own trademark Gama System® eDocs. Both solutions are harmonized with legal requirements and this is verified by obligatory software accreditation at Archive of Slovenian Republic.

We will focus special attention to a number of new sales programs, with which we are broadening our offer.

We are moving solutions for electronic document management under the brand Gama System® eDocs Cloud. On demand solution is based upon needs of full range of companies from small to large, that would like to avoid investments in own information sources and share and use it with other organizations. Purchase of electronic document system could be amortized over several years. Advantage of using cloud application is certainly intuitive web access, that enables immediate service utilization, without additional installation of software support to your personal computer. Using service Gama System® eDocs Cloud will shorten implementation of solution for electronic document management for future clients of on-demand service in their organizations. In this way we will enable high savings in installation costs of solution. Services are indeed at disposal as web usage. The greatest advantage of widely accepted business model is that clients would be paying for services according to actual utilization.

As an important role in on-demand offer of applications, we foresee as integrated capture site Gama System® SimpleScan.

It is a combination of innovative hardware (Sceye) and software application, which we have named after its simplicity and efficient usage. Document scanning is done practically without a click of a button (Zero Button Scan). Hardware, in comparison with conventional scanners, is ideal for installation in even the smallest work environment and it occupies a miniature working area, smaller than the smallest desktop scanners.

Its physical shape enables simple mobility of device, at the same time bringing supreme technological advance in physical document capturing, differing form traditional optical scanners in several ways:

  • Sceye works as optical camera, taking snapshot of document from above and automatically recognizes document edges and crops it
  • Document is optically captured immediately from your work desktop or any other even surface at your sales point, reception office or bank counter
  • Sceye is easier to work with, compared to classical scanners, scanning documents that are stapled together - without removing staples (for instance notarized documents)
  • Unlike conventional scanners Sceye starts scanning without preheating of light bulb, because it operates on the basis of LED technology.
  • Sceye doesn't require separate power source, because it operating power comes form workstation USB interface.
  • Saving as TIF format (single page, multiple pages), PDF in JPEG
  • Sceye doesn't require any maintenance or servicing (changing spare parts, etc.).

Capture site Gama System® SimpleScan thus can be introduced in virtually every organization, regardless of their activity or size. Capture site is particularly suitable for use in any store-like, bank counter, insurance office, reception office in public administration and allows decentralized document capture and transfer to either centralized legal electronic archive, or in a centralized system for managing business documents, or in the Cloud.

A special advantage of capture site is that your customers or business users at point of sale, which conclude and sign the documents or provide applications will not be deprived of attention from your staff. Electronic copy of your document will be securely stored in electronic archive or sent to further processing, before your customer leaves. Paper copy remains at your customer as a proof.

A combination of mentioned applications will be presented in the light of possibilities for transition to paperless business within processes of organization. From the point of view of internal operations and processes, such as managing purchase process and process of incoming invoices liquidation, at our exhibition stand we will show solutions for paperless business as well.
